Bio

Coach Scott Pedigo is excited about the opportunity and honor to lead MCC in its first ever Women’s Basketball season. He takes tremendous pride in developing basketball programs/players and is thrilled to be able to start this program and align it for success. He is excited to give the community a basketball team they can support and enjoy.

Pedigo became the Baldwin High School Varsity Boys Coach in 2003-2014, 2017-2018 leading Baldwin to over 200 plus wins, three District Titles and four league titles. He is a four-time Lake County Coach of the Year and was Pioneer Dream Team Coach of the year 2017. Pedigo left Baldwin as the winningest coach in school history.

Pedigo also coached at Big Rapids Crossroads Charter Academy from 2014-2015. He helped them to two WMD league Championships and a 20-win season.

From 2018-2024, Coach Pedigo started two independent AAU team’s out of Big Rapids. He was able to find success immediately in the AAU circuit winning 33 tournament championships and numerous runners up awards.

Pedigo graduated from Ferris State University where he played football from 1996 to 2000. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biology Education with a minor in Social Studies. He later added an endorsement in Special Education (LD).

Coach Pedigo currently resides in Big Rapids, Michigan with his wife Stacy and his two daughters Ava and Allyson.
