Compliance

Montcalm Community College's athletic compliance personnel work to ensure that all student-athletes, staff and coaches remain in compliance with NJCAA Division II rules.  The fundamental purpose of compliance at MCC is to maintain the integrity of the College through ensuring athletic compliance.  Our student-athletes, coaches work hard to ensure that every member of the MCC Athletics Department understands and respects the rules set forth by the NJCAA.

Although the rules of compliance are not simple, MCC's compliance personnel expect that every member involved in intercollegiate athletics is required to demonstrate their competency and awareness of those rules.  All individuals involved with MCC's athletics programs must act in full compliance and report all know violations of NJCAA, conference and institutional rules of which he or she is aware.

The link below provides general information about NJCAA rules, but is not a comprehensive description of the rules by which student-athletes, coaches and staff must abide.  Before taking any action that could potentially impact one's eligibility or be recognized as a violation of compliance, ask a member of MCC's Athletics Department staff.

Please contact Montcalm Community College's athletic office for any questions on compliance and eligibility, athletics@montcalm.edu
