Centurions Program Record Leads to 2nd Place Finish at Jackson Invite

 

 

The Montcalm Centurion golf team competed in the Jackson College Invitational on Friday, April 19 at the Arbor Hills Golf Club. The Centurions competed against St. Clair, Oakland, Delta, Schoolcraft, Mott, Jackson, Ancilla, Grand Rapids and Muskegon. The Centurions finished the invitational with a program record team score, 313 one stroke shy of Grand Rapids who won the invitational with a 312. 

 

The Centurions competed against 9 other teams and 57 golfers. The Centurions were led by Ethan and Zach Johnson who both tied for 2^nd place overall with a score of 74, followed by Jerald Brownell who tied for 7^th with a score of 79, Ryan Clingenpeel tied for 14^th place with a score of 86 and Lucas Hirkaway tied for 20^th with a score of 94.
