Montcalm Hosts First Home Invitational
The Montcalm Community College Centurion golf team hosted their first MCCAA Western Conference Golf Invitational at Glenkerry Golf Course in Greenville on Friday, April 26. Thirty-six golfers from Glen Oaks, Grand Rapids, Marian University at Ancilla College, Montcalm, Muskegon, Oakland, and Jackson College competed.
The Centurions finished with a team score of 314, behind Oakland and Grand Rapids who tied for first place with a team score of 295.
Leading the Centurions were freshman Zach Johnson, of Holt, who tied for 10th place finishing with a 75, followed by Ryan Clingenpeel (76), Jerald Brownell (78), Lucas Hirkaway (85) and Drake Syrjala (90).
