Zach Johnson named MCCAA Western Conference Golfer of the Week
Zach Johnson, a freshman from Holt, was named the MCCAA Western Conference Golfer of the Week for the week of Oct. 9-15. This is the second time Johnson has received this award this season.
"I am once again honored to be named the MCCAA Western Conference Golfer of the Week. With last week being our last tournament of the fall season, it feels good to end on a good note and I am already looking forward to the spring season with my team. I will be putting in a lot of hard work over the off season so that I can become even better than I am now, and hopefully get multiple more golfer of the week awards," Johnson said.
Johnson helped lead the Centurions program to their first ever top finish at an invitational, winning the Thomas Howard Memorial Tournament on Monday, Oct. 9. Johnson led the team shooting a 74 on the day to conclude the fall golf season.
The Centurions will return to golf season competition beginning on April 5, 2024, when they travel to Indiana to participate in the Ancilla College Invitational at Swan Lake Resort. For the full schedule, results and roster visit montcalmcenturions.com
