Clay Target Shooting team competes third meet

Montcalm Community College’s Clay Target Shooting team competed in a virtual meet on Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Flat River Conservation Club.

There are two disciplines, Trap and Skeet shooting, and two rounds of each with the top score being 25 for each round. The top overall score is 100 points.

Oren Anderson shot a 41 in Trap and a 24 in Skeet for a total of 65 points. David Johnston shot a 45 in Trap and a 36 in Skeet for a total of 81 points. Drake Syrjala shot a 38 in Trap and a 42 in Skeet for a total of 80 points.

The team’s next meet is at 11 a.m. on Oct. 7 at Flat River Conservation Club.
